Polymer Science Announces Launch of Additional P-THERM® Thermal Management Materials

Polymer Science is committed to developing high quality sub-components for the electronic device, automotive and electric vehicle (EV) industries. P-THERM® thermal management materials are designed to efficiently and effectively aid in the conduction of heat to meet the growing thermal management requirements of today’s advanced electronic designs. P-THERM® gap fillers are RoHS and HF compliant and are flame tested to meet UL94 V-0.

Our research and development team worked tirelessly utilizing the feedback received from our customers to develop and expand our product line to make it the best on the market. Our newly developed products include lower density products to decrease the component weight in electric vehicles and handheld electronic devices. Our thermal products are primarily used in 3 different areas in EV applications. These areas are between the battery module and the heat sink, between individual battery cells (intracellular) and in the control unit. Our new P-THERM® products promote the following characteristics while offering a highly competitive thermal management option:
