P-SHIELD® Film Tapes
Designed for EMI shielding and grounding applications, P-SHIELD® film tapes enable devices to meet electromagnetic compatibility requirements. Polymer Science constructs P-SHIELD® film tapes with conductive acrylic PSA. With excellent adhesion to many substrates including plastics and metals, our full line of film tapes suit advanced electronics used in aerospace, extreme conditions in automotive manufacturing and reliable EMI protection in consumer electronics.
P-SHIELD® film tapes are thin, flexible and static dissipative. These characteristics make film tape an excellent solution for multipurpose applications including touchscreens, displays, wireless charging and more. One of most popular film tapes is single-coated copper nickel acrylic with a polyimide film carrier (PS-1305). Polymer Science offers customizable solutions to suit your specific application including polyimide and polyester films. Many of Polymer Science’s P-SHIELD® film tapes are electrically insulative and provide anisotropic conductivity in the X Y plane. We offer both anisotropic and isotropic options. Black film and black adhesive options offer advanced light-blocking properties.
