P-SHIELD® Foil Tapes

Foil tape is thin, lightweight, durable and malleable. Polymer Sciences offers varieties of copper and aluminum foil tapes. Both materials contour around tight angles and conform to irregular surfaces. Most P-SHIELD® foil tapes are laminated with a conductive acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive (PSA). A key quality of this coating is good wet out on many surfaces. These tapes are economical and offer superior EMI protection for applications including connected driving, smartphones, tablets, computers and other electronics.

We feature a number of technical data sheets for our most popular conductive copper and aluminum foil tapes including black conductive copper, anisotropic conductive aluminum foil with nonconductive acrylic PSA. As technologies change, Polymer Science is constantly researching and working to create new solutions. Beyond our published foil tapes, we offer trilaminates and conductive foil without adhesives. Like most electronic devices, computer designs are more compact than ever. P-SHIELD® products including foil tapes, fabric tapes, film tapes, foam tapes and thermal management materials are used in many computer applications. Our durable, malleable foil tapes with conductive acrylic PSA are extremely effective at solving shielding and grounding issues with the most compact computer applications.

Polymer Science’s P-SHIELD® foil tapes conform to irregular surfaces, provide highly effective shielding and acrylic PSA creates strong bonds on a variety of surfaces. With space at a minimum within smartphone cases, our thin and lightweight foils deliver an economical solution for manufacturers.
